Generalmec Srl, founded in 1989 by the Lissandrin family, is a company specialized in the production of molds for plastic materials and molding. With over thirty years of experience, we have been able to evolve to meet the growing demands of the market while always maintaining the high quality of our services.
In recent years, we have undergone a significant transformation both structurally and in terms of production. This process has been driven by constant investment in the latest technologies and the continuous renewal of our equipment. Our goal is to provide innovative solutions while maintaining a high level of flexibility and functionality, ensuring a fast and precise response to our customers’ needs.
Our in-house technical office is the beating heart of our production process. Here, 2D and 3D projects are developed, and the entire product lifecycle is managed. We are capable of working with any type of file, using advanced software for the programming of mechanical processing, such as 5-axis milling and tool collision simulation. Every stage of production, from quotation to delivery, is monitored in real time to ensure maximum transparency and punctuality.

TECHNICAL OFFICE
Generalmec relies on an in-house technical office that oversees both the creation of 2D and 3D projects and the product development process. Our software processes and manages all types of files. For the CAM programming of milling operations, we use 5AX stations, along with a simulator for verifying tool path collisions. All stages of equipment manufacturing, from quotation to purchasing, from machining to testing, are managed and monitored by a dedicated software that allows us to provide the customer with real-time verification reports comparing the initial planning with the actual progress of the work.
PRODUCTION
The workshop is constantly renewed and improved over time to carry out mechanical processing with increasing ease and precision, reducing execution times. We have machining centers for 3AX and 5AX milling with dimensions up to 2700 x 1700 x 1700. For the drilling area, we have a deep hole drilling machine capable of reaching depths of up to 1250 mm. In the erosion area, we have modern sinker EDM and wire EDM machines. Our overhead cranes allow us to handle weights of up to 200 quintals.Our specialized technicians perform mold adjustments using dedicated Millutensil presses, equipped with a hydraulic unit for managing any hydraulic movements. We have a press for medium-small molds and one for large molds. We can handle weights up to a maximum of 200 quintals.
TESTING DEPARTMENT
Generalmec has a molding department equipped with two presses, one of 200 tons and one of 650 tons, where we carry out testing of small and medium-sized molds produced by us, as well as pre-series requested by the customer.
We have a control unit and a compressor for mold testing and production with nitrogen evacuation. Mold tests requiring a higher tonnage are managed externally, even on 2500-ton presses.
